Dave Black – sports photographer -
I love to make photographs. It is as simple as that. I love to make photographs that draw the audience into a captured moment in time.
My education in graphic design and studio drawing lends itself perfectly to this idea of not only capturing the moment, but to do so in such a way that it draws the audience in for a longer and closer look.
While the moment attracts the attention of the viewer, my goal is to hold their attention as well. It is the perfection of the use of light, shadows, background and color, combined with high resolution quality that will keep the audience. I approach each image with these principals in mind.
My images are inspired by this photographer, Dave Black. My images are also to do with sport and the pictures are images that capture boys playing football in great detail , the images capture shots in different lights and different angles.
My pictures would attract the younger generation and mostly boys and would sell to any sport, athletic magazine. Could also possibly be found in a newspaper article. Any advertisement related to sports would be relevant to my images

we see the image from a low angle shot and we see the image is very effective by the use of color within the background and the image itself this all contrasts as it is a serious pose we are seeing with a daze into the distance along with a bright light around this to highlight the image more and to make it more effective

the image has a black background that helps reflects both images beneath them we see this from almost a side angle seeing the images from different views which comes across very effective also having both images in different views also help the contrast of the full image itself. the images almost look as if they are under a spotlight as there are brighter colors behind the images
